ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Seattle. I require caffeine to get through my mornings, which are actually afternoons. I have clever friends who say clever things that I enjoy quoting, but can't always fit into my prose. At least now I don't have to come up with titles for the entries. People often take the liberty of giving me cute nicknames like Buttercup or Ripper. I couldn't think of a cohesive theme for my blog so I chose postmodernism. No one really knows what that means anyway.

I do have hobbies other than writing about myself. I play the piano, I love to travel, and I dabble in photography.

Check out some of my work here.

Where writing is concerned, I have another project that I'm working on but it is currently being delayed on account of my writer's block. There is also the problem of figuring out whether to make it into a novel or a screenplay. I would have gone with epic poem, but my dactylic hexameter needs work.

I thought about starting a travel blog since I have so many photos, but those are a dime a dozen. On the other hand, how often do you stumble across a postmodern blog about Los Angeles written by someone going through an existential not-exactly-a-crisis-but-I-don't-have-any-other-word-for-it? Exactly.
